Breaking the Chains: Transforming Habits, Routines, and Mindsets for a Healthier Life

Embrace transformative change by breaking free from conditioned habits, routines, and negative mindsets, as explored through practical insights and the power of positive choices, as inspired by Philippians 3:13-14.

We can become conditioned to our old patterns, habits, and routines to the point that it becomes a way of life. It could be the habit of drinking everything but water or not getting enough water, the routine of not eating breakfast or eating something with little nutritional value, the pattern of snacking or eating when we are not truly hungry, the habit of spending more time sitting than moving, the routine of eating more junk than foods of substance, and using the same excuses to stay in the same place that does not yield the good health that we desire.  For every change that we desire we must be willing to do something different and believe that it is possible. It’s not enough to just want something that is good because there are typically negative thoughts that are hindering the change we desire.  We often try to make physical changes before changing our negative mindsets about what we desire.  True change starts in the mind by choosing to forget the old thoughts, past triggers and behaviors and replace them with images and words of the desired success.  We must make a conscious choice to choose not to repeat the same bad behaviors and yield to the same triggers that are a byproduct of the mind's focus. So, if we want something different, we must set our minds on our desired outcomes of victory.  For truly our bodies follow the thoughts of our minds and the past experiences that is embedded into out subconscious.  So, if we can produce negative behavior, how much more can we produce positive behaviors that breeds a lifestyle of success.

Phil. 3:13-14 ...forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
